The N'Takou is a bit of Love, a bit of International Solidarity and a lot of Africa!

Borrowed from the Yacouba language of western Côte d'Ivoire, “N'Takou” etimologically refers to solidarity.
At The N'Takou, we don't pretend to change the world, but we do want to ensure that access to education is no longer a pipe dream for children.

A book, a best friend for life

Reading charms ailments and consoles misfortunes.

To read is to experience this subtle time of minutes to oneself.

A child who reads is an adult who thinks.

They do The N'Takou

Whether they're bankers, students, diplomats, politicians, Koreans, French, authors, Ivorians, Cameroonians, housewives or even Americans; they've got a humanitarian heart and they're making The N'Takou all over the world.

Michaela Peng

Maire de la Ville de Koonan

The N'Takou's programs have helped strengthen Koonan's education policy and have had a real impact on early childhood. It's an initiative that needs to be integrated into our communities.
